| Since 1992, the Big Island Academy has
provided massage training programs for state and national certification.
Our training program is an approved curriculum to becoming becoming
part of the Massage Therapy Vocational Trade reconized by the DCCA
Massage board of Hawaii Licensing. We are the only Academy downtown Hilo, in East Hawaii, on the Big Island . In a
Universal Arena of healing, learning and Aloha, our graduates leave
empowered with superior skills taught in an environment that fosters the
aloha spirit, personal growth, and healing for body, mind, and spirit.
We also offer classes and workshops for continuing education (CEU's).

|  In Winter of 2009 the Big Island Adademy of Massage (BIAOM) was taken over by Yahavah Mathison. Yahavah has a long history within the health industry and has been focused on natural methods of healing for over 30 years. Yahavah joyfully and wisely
combines all of her professional interests and is a gifted
healer, astrologer,
spiritual teacher, health practitioner, yoga teacher, massage teacher, and a
poet-singer-musician.
