(not including tax & supplies 2 - The Principles & Practice of Swedish Massage Therapy, with a touch of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Techniques (100 hours) $2135.00 (not including tax $ supplies & Anatomy Course) With these two Courses you get a certificate to practice massage in our clinic in Hawaii so that you can finish your 420 pre-requisite hours Goals: To learn the basic concepts of the human body, particularly relating to health, movement, palpation and soft tissue therapies. Includes a therapeutic, full-body massage routine. Learn when, why and how massage helps, as well as when it is not indicated. Explore body mechanics, the power of healing touch, reflexology, palpation and assessment skills. Level 1 Dates: Introductory Swedish classical Massage (100 hrs Hands on ($ 2135)

Level II & Internship Training (min. 420 hours): includes 4 workshops (choose from the list below) Level II Tuition is $2,140 includes for 4 classes: Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue/SportsMassage, Pre-Natal Massage, Reflexology or Hot-Cold Stone Therapy (not included fees, insurance, CPR and supplies. ) Students participate in community events. Level II Prepares students for State and National Exams. Payment plans available, distributed over 5 months. Students may pay monthly after a $500 down payment is made. Long-term student loans are available through our affiliate TFC Credit Corp or Bank loans. If tuition is paid in full at the time of registration a $200.00 discount will be given. (or ask for our $15% discount Special) No refunds can be given back if not asked for at least 2 weeks before all classes are due to begin The Big Island Academy of Massage is the only Vocational Trade Academy in downtown Hilo. It is recognize and approved by the State of Hawaii Massage Board Licensing. We are also AMTA school member in good standing & have student job placement. NOTE: Our program is based on a first come basis (for those that qualify), class fill up quickly so early registration is advised. No one will be considered registered until they have met all of the above requirements. Pre-licensing requirements: With the onset of pending changes in the state Board of Massage rules, all students must be finished with Level I and Level II programs before the new changes are made.
